Amara Rodriguez is an Associate at the firm’s Tampa office.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Amara considers herself a Tampa native having grown up in the area and deciding to stay for her education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with concentrations in Biological Health and Mental and Behavioral Health, from the University of South Florida and then attended Stetson University College of Law in neighboring St. Petersburg where she graduated Cum Laude with a concentration in Advocacy.
While at Stetson, Amara was a member of the #1 Trial Team in the nation and is a two-time champion. For her demonstrated advocacy skills, Amara was inducted as a member of the Order of the Barristers in 2018. In addition, Amara served as an executive member of the Student Bar Association and dedicated her pro-bono work to serving the needs of America’s veterans through Stetson’s Veterans Advocacy Clinic.
In her free time, Amara enjoys working on house projects and other DIYs, volunteering through her church, and exploring her growing hometown.
