Gary F. Baumann is a founding partner who earned his Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. He practices many areas of civil litigation, including Construction Defect Litigation, Catastrophic Loss, Professional Liability, Crane Litigation, Premises Liability, Negligent Security, Liquor Liability, Wrongful Death, Auto Negligence, Mass Tort and Products Liability.

He has extensive trial experience throughout Florida with nearly 75 civil jury trials to date.   He is a past member of both the State of Florida and the Federal Defense Steering Committee handling Chinese Drywall Claims having been appointed by The Honorable Eldon Fallon in the MDL located in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a Co-Chairman, Moderator and Speaker at various national seminars on Construction Defect Law; Catastrophic Trial Strategies; Commercial Auto Litigation; Negligent Security and Premise Liability Claims; and Claims Adjuster Ethics.

Trial results include a $109,000,000 defense verdict in Volusia County, FL, one of the largest defense verdicts in the State of Florida for 2015. Remarkably, he was asked to try this catastrophic case approximately forty-five days before the start of the trial.  Other significant trial victories include the following:

• Baumann successfully obtained a complete defense verdict in a Broward County, FL in a premise liability trial where the Plaintiff requested $13,000,000.00 from the jury having incurred $1,000,000.00 in past medical bills from 27 surgical procedures.
• A complete defense verdict in a Products Liability Wrongful Death Trial in Palm Beach County, FL
• A complete defense verdict for a commercial truck driver in an above the knee amputation case with over $3,000,000.00 in past medical bills in Highlands County, Fl.
• A complete defense verdict for a general contractor in a $5,000.000.00 Construction Defect case lasting over 15 years in Palm Beach County, FL.
• In a Construction Defect case where the Plaintiff/Owner sought over $50,000,000.00 in damages, Mr. Baumann and his partner were able to keep the Arbitration Award at a total of $5,000.000.00 with zero awarded for attorneys’ fees and costs to the claimant.
