Laura Pinkerton is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Tampa office.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary studies, with focuses in Behavioral Sciences and the Humanities with a minor in Art History. She attended Stetson University College of Law where she graduated Cum Laude in the top 6% of her class. While at Stetson University College of Law, she served on the Stetson Law Review in which she received the Outstanding Associate Award for her work. In addition to writing her Comment and editing scholarly articles, she helped write the Alumni newsletter, interviewing students and alumni who had shown prestige in their work. Laura also demonstrated skill in Trial Advocacy, winning the Wehle award. Finally, Laura was active in the leadership community, serving as co-chair for the Stetson Intramural Soccer.
In her free time, Laura bikes, plays soccer, paints and plays music. She is also an avid Liverpool FC supporter and assists in creating charity events to support the local community in Liverpool and the Tampa Bay Area. For instance, Laura was part of an effort to help raise funds to sponsor walkers in the Health, Hope and Sunshine Foundations charity walk. Prior to moving to St. Petersburg, she volunteered at the Orlando City Soccer Club, working as a trainer for the Little Lions.
