Daniel P. Stiffler joined Baumann, Gant & Keeley in June 2019. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in the areas of insurance defenses handling major claims and complex litigation having a variety of origins. Mr. Stiffler has handled all facet of litigation in the areas of construction defects, personal injury, general liability, commercial litigation, premise liability, product liability, negligent security, wrongful termination, and maritime litigation. Additionally, Mr. Stiffler is an experienced trial attorney and has tried a number of cases in his career in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Stiffler has also successfully handled appeals on both the State and Federal level.

Mr. Stiffler received his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad School of Law in 1994. Mr. Stiffler graduated from the University of Florida in 1990 with a Bachelor in Science in Journalism. Prior to joining Baumann, Gant & Keeley, Mr. Stiffler spent 17 years working as an insurance defense attorney, including 13 years working in-house counsel for Nationwide Insurance Company and CNA insurance. During that time, Mr. Stiffler also managed and oversaw the South Florida trial division office for Nationwide Insurance Company. Additionally, Mr. Stiffler spent six years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Broward State Attorney Office in which he first chaired over 50 trials.

Mr. Stiffler was born and raised in South Florida and has extensive ties to the community. Additionally, Mr. Stiffler has practical experience in the trade industry. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994. He is admitted to the Southern District of Florida in 2000 and to the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in 2017.
