Gerardo M. Fernandez-Davila is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Baumann, Gant, & Keeley, P.A., focusing his practice in the areas of insurance and general liability defense, including construction defect, professional liability, personal injury, premises liability, and bodily injury claims. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fernandez-Davila worked as an associate with various insurance defense law firms in South Florida where he represented insureds in construction defect litigation, architects and general contractors in professional liability, first-party property claims, bodily injury claims, premise liability actions, and complex business litigation.
Mr. Fernandez-Davila received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida in May 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida in May 2010. While in law school, he served as senior staff member for the Nova Law Review, member of the Nova Trial Advocacy Team, and Teacher’s Assistant for Legal Research and Writing. Mr. Fernandez-Davila also a member for the law school’s 2013 Kaufmann Moot Court Competition. Mr. Fernandez-Davila received his concentration in International Legal Practices from the Nova Southeastern University and University of Barcelona dual degree program upon graduation in 2013. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
